Samsung unveils the Samsung G800 camera phone, which is the world’s first 5MP camera phone with 3x optical zoom (emp-1is on optical zoom, 5MP camera phones are not unique anymore, see also the Samsung G600 launched this Summer). Update: The Sharp 910SH available through Softbank in Japan also -1 5MP and 3x optical zoom and is apparently already available since a year. Thanks Paul S.
On the backside the Samsung G800 looks like a normal digital camera featuring a sliding lens cover.
Other camera features of the Samsung G800 include Xenon flash, panorama shots, multi shots, and macro shots, video editing functions and video sharing options to upload images and videos to the net.
