Panasonic is pleased to introduce the new 6-megapixel Lumix DMC-FX3 with LEICA DC Lens which
features MEGA O.I.S and maximum ISO 1600 high sensitivity mode. Optical Image Stabilizer which has now become a standard feature for all digital cameras in the market. This feature is to overcome the blur result of image taken because hand-shake has always been a critical issue in certain photographic situations such as zoom shots, low-light indoor, night time and macro shooting.
Panasonic’s added additional boost to the Lumix DMC-FX3 performance is the new image processing LSI, the Venus Engine III. This technology will detect both chromatic and luminance noise separately which enables the digital camera to shoot at ISO 800 in full resolution. DMC-FX3 boasts a f/2.8 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 35 mm to 105 mm on a 35 mm film camera) LEICA DC which will be able to deliver a 6-megapixel of image with resolutions of 2816 x 1586 on 16:9 aspect ratio. If you think 16:9 aspects is too high, you can choose between 4:3 or 3:2. In addition to a standard VGA (640 x 480) a@ 30 fps motion image recording, the digital camera also records stunning full-size movies in wide-aspect VGA (848 x 480) @ 30 fps, enabling you to view them on your wide screen.
