LG CE110 Review
January 29th, 2008 · Comments Off
The year 2008 started with many major cell phone companies announcing entry-level mobile phones including Nokia and Sony Ericsson. LG makes the list now with its new CE110 clamshell, ready to premiere on AT&T this year. It carries the usual array of features fit enough for a low-end mobile but adds a bit of instant […]

LG KU990 Viewty vs. Nokia N82
January 18th, 2008 · Comments Off
Our mobile guy in Hong Kong, Samuel Chan, went on a photographic mission for us last month. He spent a day roaming around Hong Kong with LG’s KU990 Viewty and Nokia’s N82 in hand. Both devices have similar specs when it comes to their auto-focus, 5 megapixel cameras, but we thought it might be interesting […]

Rumor by LG Review

Like any good piece of gossip, the Rumor by LG gives you something to talk about. LG Voyager Review
December 18th, 2007 · Comments Off
hink of the LG Voyager less as a would-be iPhone killer and more as what the latest Sidekicks should have been–a solid messaging device with first-class multimedia features. With its half-touchscreen display and slider form factor, the Venus by LG is like the little brother to the full-touchscreen Voyager. It’s a flashy multimedia phone that will turn heads, but it costs a pretty penny. While not without its flaws–namely its key-locking mechanism–the Venus is a worthy upscale alternative to the LG VX8700 and […]

LG VX9400 Review
April 28th, 2007 · Comments Off
The appeal of the VX9400 starts and ends with the large 2.2-inch display. With a simple thumb flick, the screen flips up 45 degrees to the left into a widescreen position perpendicular to the phone’s body, revealing the slightly recessed dialpad. Whatever happens to be on the display automatically reorients itself depending on its position, […]

LG VX8700 Review
April 28th, 2007 · Comments Off
The cell phone equivalent of a Zippo lighter, the LG VX8700 stands out from other thin clamshells because of its shiny metal finish. But that’s not the only reason to snatch up this style statement. It’s far from cheap, but a sharp two-megapixel camera, V CAST video and music support, and stereo Bluetooth solidify the […]
